Partnership with John R. White to Expand Market Access Following Bunge’s Acquisition of IFF Soy Protein Concentrate and Lecithin Business

BIRMINGHAM, AL – April, 2026 — John R. White today announced a partnership with Bunge to scale soy protein solutions for food manufacturers in North America. Bunge recently announced its acquisition of International Flavors and Fragrances’ soy protein concentrate and lecithin business, strengthening its position as a global leader in soy ingredients, oilseed processing, and food ingredient manufacturing.

As part of this expansion, Bunge is partnering with John R. White Company (JRW), a leading specialty ingredient supplier, to accelerate brand awareness, customer adoption, and technical capabilities for soy protein concentrate and lecithin across North America.

The acquisition significantly enhances Bunge’s ability to supply high-quality soy protein ingredients, including soy protein concentrate, lecithin, and related soy-based solutions used in food manufacturing, plant-based products, and nutritional applications.

Through its partnership with JRW, Bunge will expand its reach to food manufacturers seeking reliable soy protein suppliers, improved ingredient performance, and competitive pricing.
